Rates for Services

  • Intake Session - $275

    An intake session is the first 60-minute session you will have when you are starting services. Prior to your appointment, you will receive a link to the client portal where you will complete your intake paperwork.

  • 1 Hour Individual Therapy - $200

    Session duration and frequency will be determined after the intake session with your therapist. Typically, clients are seen for one 1-hr session each week.

  • 1-Hour Couples or Family - $225

    Usually occuring on a weekly basis. More intensive formats are also available.

  • Couples Counseling - $335 (60-90 minutes)

    Partners working through more intense issues have the option to come in for extended sessions.

  • Group Therapy - $40/week

    Groups for individuals will be offered throughout the year, typically consisting of 5-12 participants, as well as groups for couples consisting of 3-5 couples. Both are usually a 9-12 week commitment.

  • Intensives - $225/hr | 1.5-5 hours

    Extended therapy sessions, often scheduled for multiple hours across a weekend. Relational Trauma Intensives to process through childhood relational wounds and Marriage Intensives – for couples stuck in painful cycles, desperate for lasting change.

  • Clinical Consultation - $150/hr

    For licensed mental health providers to consult on AEDP conceptualization, MFT perspectives on second-order change/process dynamics, and client attachment wounds/repairative therapeutic relationship.

  • Educational Workshop - $35/week

    Seminar series offered throughout the year, led by Dr. Nicholas R. Amitrano. Such as the 8-week course, Emotions Education 101

 Payments & FAQs

  • Jamie Amitrano, LMFT is not an in-network provider with insurance companies at this time. Please check with your insurance plan to see if it reimburses for out-of-network providers.

    Arkansas Residents: It is estimated she will be in-network with the following insurance companies by Summer 2026: Ambetter, BCBS, UMR, Aetna, Cigna.

    Illinois/Indiana Residents: Check with your insurance plan to see if they reimburse for out-of-state providers.

  • Possibly. Call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services (CPT Codes 90791, 90837, 90834, 90832, 90847, 90846)?

    • What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it have I met?

    • After meeting my deductible, what percentage of the session fees will be reimbursed?

    • Do I need a pre-authorization or referral to see Jamie Amitrano, LMFT (NPI: 1982364840)?

    • Am I limited to a certain number of sessions per year?

    • Where do I send my superbill for reimbursement?

  • Self-pay means that client pays the full session fee directly at the time of service, rather than using health insurance. This gives you greater privacy, flexibility, and control in your therapy.

    With self-pay:

    • Your records are not shared with an insurance company.

    • You and your therapist, not your insurance provider, decide the length and focus of treatment.

    • No formal diagnosis is required for reimbursement purposes.

  • Yes! Please email jamie@amitranopsych.com and she can email you a PDF of the current fee schedule.

  • Jamie Amitrano is willing to work with clients to set up payment plans that align with paycheck schedules or other financial circumstances.

    That said, please note that therapy may be discontinued if an outstanding balance of $100 or more remains unpaid for over 30 days. If you anticipate difficulties with payment, we encourage you to reach out to her so you can create a plan that supports both your care and financial well-being.

  • Yes, in some cases. Reduced-rate slots are limited and offered at the therapist’s discretion. If approved, a separate Reduced Rate Agreement will outline the rates and payment terms.

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A $75 fee is charged for:

    • Canceling within 24 hours of your session

    • Rescheduling within 24 hours of your session

    • Not showing up for your scheduled session
